After an excellent quick-fire round of weekly captions in September, for October we return to the more sedate pace of our usual monthly competition.

We are delighted to advise that Laguna are continuing to sponsor the competition with prizes for both winner and runner up as follows:

October 1st Prize

1 x 50ml bottle of Tiger Nut SAC juice (bait activator)
2 x 50ml bottle of Hemp SAC juice (bait activator)
2 x 50ml bottle of Molasses SAC juice (bait activator)
1 x 50ml bottle of Sweet Chilli ‘n' Garlic SAC juice (bait activator)
1 x 50ml bottle of Krill SAC juice (bait activator)

With a value of £27.93

Plus a mystery bonus prize of a brand new product not yet available in the shops!

October 2nd Prize

A mystery bonus prize of a brand new product not yet available in the shops!

To get your hands on the goodies all we want are suitable captions for this (and those of a nervous disposition should look away now...) spear fishing scene.

I think the FM team will stick with rod and line....

Before I attempt to remove this Sir, may I just ask are you a left hand or right hand thread?

After another Baiting needle accident Lauguna starts work on his safe alternative to the bait needle

see, that's clever , I plugged one of his other products as well - that's got to be worth a freebie or two

PS. I know it's too late, but I thought of one for the last competition just closed:

"Stop Press, Sandwich found, hope at last"

The Man in the Hat's friends were jubilant earlier today to hear that the sandwich short in his picnic had at last been found...
