Wychwood Maximiser Barbel Rods

Wychwood Maximiser Barbel Rods

Wychwood Maximiser Barbel Rods

Wychwood Overview

With an increasing number of barbel anglers tackling big, deep, fast flowing rivers we felt we needed to produce a rod designed specifically to deal with these conditions.

Both of the rods in the Maximiser range come with two tip sections. The 12' version is supplied with a 1.75lb TC and a 2lb TC, while the 13' has a 2lb TC and 2.5lb TC tips.

Both rods are made from high grade, multi modulus carbon with full length cork handles and Fuji reels seats. We have put a soft touch non-slip butt cap as these rods are fished mostly with the butts resting on the floor.

Enormous casting and fighting power combined with perfect balance and topped with a super sensitive tip for bite detection complete the perfect barbel fishing rod.

• Full cork handle
• Fuji screw lock reel seat
• Custom spaced braid friendly rings
• Multi modulus carbon blank
• Each rod supplied with two tip sections
• Gunmetal trim rings and non-slip butt cap

Maximiser Barbel rods are expected to be in the shops by the beginning of October and will retail at:

12ft with 1.75lb and 2lb tips £99.99
13ft with 2lb and 2.5lb tips £119.99.

these rods looks good ,and the write up sounds good , but i shall stick to my specimen rods for my barbel fishing , at 63 years of age , whats the point of buying the latest gear, just  because its the latest ,when my old gear is still functional , if i were to buy a new rod it would be a specimen travel rod , which stows nicely in the caravan ,or car boot
