Two roach well in excess of the British record have been netted from a southern river by the Environment Agency.
We don’t have any details as yet, but the full story can be read in Tuesday’s Angling Times.
FISHINGmagic Note
Following on from the record brace of roach from the Ibsley stretch of the Hant’s Avon this comes as another hefty surprise. Who would have thought that our rivers could do better than the usual gravel pits in producing record fish?
In my book this is great news and if it gives yet another boost to our rivers then all the better.
