Not mentioned in the press release that came with the product, but was immediately obvious to this reviewer, is that it could also be used as a river roving chair. It is very light and therefore easy to carry, the seat cushion is waterproof and the chair will adjust to fit the slope on most riverbanks.
The FlashBak was launched at the World Carp Classic in France last September and was well received by those who tried it.
Although I haven’t used the FlashBak on many occasions, one misgiving I have is the adjustment system. It’s simple enough, and seems to be secure, but the chance of trapping your fingers if it was to suddenly collapse look all too real. Be aware of this and maybe save yourself some pain. I think Cobra would have been better building in some kind of locking mechanism to safeguard against this.
Maybe my fears are unfounded, but I feel it should be mentioned.
