I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I tested the twoproducts I was sent from SealSkinz.
The first item was a pair of their waterproof gloves. I decidedto try them out on a pretty gruelling test for a pair of glovesreally. Nothing to do with fishing but I thought that a great testwould be to wash the car while I was wearing them. Now these gloveshave small gripping dots on their palms and these work brilliantly, even in the wet, allowing you to hold onto things with hardly anyrisk of dropping them. Anyway I do the car by firstly washing thewhole thing with cold water and then washing it again with the properwashing liquid in warm water to finish it off. I found to myamazement that after well over an hours cleaning that my hands werestill totally dry. These gloves are the business when it comes tohaving dry hands.
Now some of us, myself included, get very, very cold when we getout hands and feet wet so these gloves are a must for people like us. They don’t keep your hands that warm on their own but you can buyliners to aid with this small point.
I also received a pair of the long socks, which are alsowaterproof. These socks are also great. Now I don’t know about youlot but I find that when wearing my boots or wellies that once I getin I have all wrinkly toes and soles of my feet because of the sweatwhich they have been sitting in all the time I have been out. Wellas these socks are breathable this no longer happens.
Also if you happen to slip into the margins with these on, yourshoe or boot may well get soaked but your feet will be nice anddry.
These are one of the best products that I have seen lately in thebattle against the elements and I thoroughly recommend them.
