Kirk Farrell from the Wirrall fished with Activ8 Dumbell Boilies to catch a common of 22lb.
Sheffield’s Neil Ingle fished a single Fluoro pop-up to net a 25.08.
Barry O’Connor paid us a visit following the successful Junior Competition that he and his son Ben helped so much with, to catch a fully scaled mirror of 29.08 a common of 22.10 and mirrors of 20.07, 19.11, 17.02, 13.06. Barry fished with Carp R Us Fluoro pop-ups over ground-bait.
Not to be outdone, Barry’s son Ben caught mirrors of 26.11, 24.02, 21.08, 20.10 and 18.14 plus a common of 15.07. Ben used Solar Red Herring Boilies.
Using D. T. Oily Chicken pop-ups, Neil Page from Welwyn Garden City caught a mirror of 31.08.
YEOMANS LAKE
Nick Bull reports a tremendous catch from the water that includes common carp of 13.06, 25.02, 28.14 and mirrors of 17.02, 22.08, 23.06, 24.00 & 23.02.
J Sawbridge from Leicester fished particles to catch two fully scaled mirrors of 28lb and 22.08, commons of 29.04 and 25.04. The particles were fished over pellets.
HARDWICK LAKE
Ian Russell of Heathrow Bait Services paid his first visit to the water and was pleased with a 25.12 mirror caught on one of his companies pop-ups.
Les Bowen fished with Nutrabaits’ pop-ups to catch a mirror of 32.04
UNITY LAKE
Ivor Peachy from Coventry has caught the mirror carp known has ‘Spike’ at its best weight of 29.08.
GAUNTS LAKE
Jimmy Evans from Wales caught a brace of thirty pound mirrors on Richworth Multi Plex fished over Richworth pellets. The fish weighed 31.08 and 30.04. Jimmy also caught a 12lb mirror.
