An artificial bread that feels like rubber which is extremely buoyant and soft, yet tough enough to withstand the attentions of fish and stay on the hook or a hair rig while casting.
Just like real bread the Enterprise bread can be cut or torn into chunks to expose the fluffy, sponge-like interior.
It will readily absorb a flavour, or even a colour should you wish to change its appearance.

I’ve yet to actually use this new artificial bait but I’m looking forward to trying it on the chub this winter and floater fishing for carp with it next year when the water warms up.
Certainly breadlike
It certainly feels good and is very buoyant, meaning it will be easy to use popped up or critically balanced. Give it some flavour and the chub may go for it in a big way and won’t be able to snatch it off the hook like they can real bread.
You can combine the artificial stuff with some real bread, either flake or crust, or with cheese or some other type of paste.
With a little imagination there are all sorts of things you can do with this stuff.
I’m certainly looking forward to giving it a go on the Ribble for those big chub when they’re playing silly buggers. You know, giving perfect but unhittable bites. Maybe this is just what’s needed to convert some of them into fish on the bank.
