The National Country Fair takes place this year from Saturday, May 31st to Sunday, June 1st and will be hosted at Birr Castle Demesne, Birr, Co. Offaly.
Now in its 5th year, the Fair is Ireland’s premier country sports event and country fair. This event is an occasion for all the family to participate in or just enjoy a very colourful and exciting day out in beautiful surroundings.
The angling symposium at the 2003 National Country Fair comprises the largest outdoor angling exhibition in Ireland, offering an exciting and varied range of game fishing events, demonstrations and competitions.
It includes game angling clinics with world record holders and instructors, Peter Anderson, Charles Jardine and Sean McManmon.
Supporting the demonstration team are Betty Hayes, Trevor Morgan, Packy Trotter and Gary Bell.
