This is the all new stainless steel metalware range from Fishrite, made from top quality, tested material.

The metal is smooth and well finished with no sharp edges. All the locking screws are easy to use tommy bars that cold weather anglers will appreciate.

All the female locking threads also have knurled shoulders to offer a good grip. The three rod buzzer bar has knurled locking collars to ensure that buzzers can be fixed securely and not swivel at the slightest knock.

The Easy Pod, extending from 24″ to 41″, can be broken down to the main pod section, four legs and two uprights so that the whole thing slides easily into the sturdy carrying case.

When assembled it makes for a stable pod helped by the weight of the all-stainless construction.

FISHINGmagic VERDICT

Good quality stainless, well made, with the little tommy bars making locking everything up a doddle. Breaking down to all its component parts and fitting into a slim, 25″ long carrying case means it can easily be dropped into a pocket in your holdall or rucksack. And the price is reasonable

My only niggles are that all the extending legs and arms come completely out which means they’re vulnerable to being lost. The same applies to the locking screws. Care needs to be taken.
