Swindon’s Eddie Roberts fished with small boilies, wrapped in paste, at 45 yards to catch a 27lb mirror.

Manchester’s Lee Spence fished Shellfish B5 Boilies along with pellet filled PVA bags at 35 yards to catch a leather carp of 23lb.

Paul Cooper from Lincoln fished particle hook baits over a spod mix at 60 yards to catch a 28.02 mirror.

Fishing with High Visibility, Fronk Warwick Pop-Ups, Shane Peters from Exeter has caught a common of 24.04.

Yateley angler, Ben Jones fishing with Yateley Angling Centre Squirrel boilies, of course!! has caught mirrors of 19lb 20.05 and a common of 34.04. Ben is fishing at 60 yards over a spod mix.

HARDWICK LAKE
Casting a boilie hook bait, made from Solar Club Mix, to a rolling carp at 80 yards, Henry Mory from Cheltenham caught a 23.04 mirror.

Daniel constable from Northants caught the big common at spot on 35lb. Daniel fished particles in the margins.

Lee Betteridge from Chinnor, Oxford caught mirrors of 31.06 and 35.12. Lee fished particle hook baits with PVA bags of pellets at 60 yards to tempt the two big mirrors. The biggest fish of the two caught is the fully scaled carp known as ‘Jordan’. The fish of 40.02 that we reported recently was not ‘Jordan’ as previously thought but is the same fish featured on page 20 of our 2003 brochure, with Nick Helleur at 33.01. Bruno is the fish also featured on page 6 of the brochure which was caught last year by Chris Blunt at 33.08.

Rich Howell from Stoke on Trent fished particles over a spod mix at 100 yards to catch a mirror of 24lb and a common of 14.08

Lee Oldfield from Bristol, fishing with home made boilies and broken boilies in PVA bags at 30 yards has caught a 32.13 mirror.

Gareth Wittle caught a personal best mirror of 31.06

HUNTS CORNER LAKE
When we left Stefan Bal at 4pm today he had already caught a mirror of 28ld and anothe, fully scaled at 27.08lb. Stef is fishing with the new Richworth boilies and putting 23 free offerings around each hook bait.

MANOR FARM LAKE
A total of twenty four pike were reported caught during the ACA qualifying match held on the water on Sunday. The match was won by Owen Finnemore.

Hertfordshire’s Billy Smith fished particles with pellet filled PVA bags in the margins to catch a 31.04 mirror.

Jason Cann back on the water to do another feature has caught a 28lb common and four low double stockies. Jason is fishing with Dynamite Baits, Flouro pop-ups over particles.

Edd Clayson who is accompanying Jason Cann to take photos for an Angling Times Feature decided to put out two rods and was rewarded with five carp to 31.01 and a 9.08 tench. Edd fished particles over an heavily spodded pellet & particle mix. Hope you can use the camera Jason!

Jason Cann now nearing the end of his 48 hour session has notched up a few more carp. Fishing with Frank Warwick Flouro Pop-Ups over an heavily spodded area, Jason has caught a further three doubles, a 20.01 common, a 28lb mirror [known as the Zip Linear and caught earlier this year at 25.04] and a new 32.06 mirror – this fish is verified as one of the Mark Simmons stock fish that escaped from the Float Lake during flooding three years ago. Along with others it was introduced into the Float Lake about five years ago. The average weight of these fish at that time was 1lb.

Local, Witney angler, Nick Bassett is also enjoying sport on the water. Fishing home made boilies along with PVA bags and pellets at 60 yards he has caught two upper doubles and a 21.06 mirror – this twenty mirror is also verified has one of Mark Simmons fish from the same batch has Jason’s thirty.

OXLEASE LAKE
Richworth Consultant, Ron Buss, fished with Multiplex boilies and PVA bags and pellets to catch a common of 20lb.

Southampton’s Adam Cleaver has returned to the water and in great style has caught mirrors of 18lb, 19.04 and six twenties to 25.02. Adam fished Fusion Boilies over spodded broken boilies.

Fishing home made boilies with PVA bags and pellets, Andy Wornham from Wantage has caught two mirrors of 24.12 and 10lb.

Fishing home made boilies over a spod mix at 45 yards, Simon Ladd has caught mirrors of 28.10, 24.10 and 16.06. The biggest fish is a personal best for Simon. Fishing with him is his friend from Germany, Benedikt Oberteis who as so far caught three mirrors to 12lb.

The water is fishing well and carp are being caught from different areas of the lake – plenty of fish showing – very active and responding well to heavy baiting.

Simon Ladd and his angling companion, Angus Rae from Norwich, finished there session with some nice fish. The best for Simon were mirrors of 25.02, 22.02 and 20.04 and for Angus, mirrors of 21lb and 20.04. Both anglers fished boilies over heavily spodded pellets.

WINTER PERMITS
Winter tickets to cover fishing on all the linear day ticket waters are available at £ 150 each. these permits cover fishing with up to three rods from November 1st 2003 until march 1st 2004.

The winter permits will run from November 1st until march 1st and will cost £ 150.
