The 37-pounder from Raygill Fisheries

Eddie Caldwell, in his regular ‘Caldwell’s Chronicles’ feature reported a 37lb pike from Yorkshire’s Raygill Fisheries. Eddie wrote, “The Delph Lake is a trout lake but it has an impressive pike population, too. The 37 pounder is a record for the fishery and fell for rubber shad. Delph Lake at the Raygill complex is dedicated to pike angling at this time of the year and inquiries about fishing should be made to: 01535 6325000.”

Angela Clement of Raygill Fisheries sent us this picture and said, “The pike weighed 37lbs and measured 44ins. It was caught in the Delph Lake on 3rd February. The next day a 22lb pike came out.”
