This year’s FISHINGmagic Carp Charity fish-in, incorporating the James Farrow Memorial Trophy, is being held at RMC’s Blue Pool at Burghfield, Reading in Berkshire on Monday 19th to Wednesday 21st September.


A stunning 30lb 7oz common for Mike Lee at last year’s event

The Blue Pool, where we staged a carp fishing teach-in last year, is an excellent choice of venue and our thanks go to Ian Welch for letting us have the pool exclusively for the event. Parts 3 and 4 of the Korda Underwater Videos were filmed at the Blue Pool.

Last year this event led to the catching of three personal best fish, including a superb common of 30lb 7oz. It raised more than £ 2700 for Second Chance and East Anglian Air Ambulance and this year we hope to do even better.
