James Prior who is on the water for a tutorial with Mick Perry caught a linear scaled mirror of 21.10 and a mirror of 21.06, the bait was Mainline Pro-Active Pineapple fished at 60 yards with a few free offering scattered around.
Devon Angler Richard Hill fished Bomber Pellets at 30 yards to catch a 27.08 and a 26.02 catfish. The 27.08 was a first catfish for Richard who also caught a 15lb mirror and 19.08 carp on Matrix Boilies fished over a few free offerings at the same distance.
Also from Devon and fishing Matrix Boilies at 30 yards is Kevin Buxton who caught a 26.14 mirror carp.
Chris Lowe from West Brom caught six fish including three twenties to 26lb when he fished on the surface.
Malcolm Quayle from Southampton who is on the lake for a tutorial with Lee Collins has caught commons of 16.04 and 17.10 plus a 16.12 mirror when guided by Lee he fished Mainline Active Pineapple Boilies over a mixture of Bankside Shrimp and Grubber Pellets.
Darren Greenfield from Derby caught five doubles to 18.08 when he fished at 50 yards range with home made boilies over a spod mix.
Chris Rose and Steve Spurgeon from Korda Developements who are down to do an article with Coarse Fisherman Magazine have caught nine doubles. They fished Mainline Pro-Activ Pineapple Boilies topped with artiicial sweetcorn on the hook with pellets and particles in Korda Funnel Web bags at 60 yards range.
Ian MacMillan who is on the water to do a feature for Carp World with Mick Perry has caught 13 carp including three twenties to 23.04. Ian is fishing Mainline Activ Pineapple over spodded hemp and Bankside Grubber Pellets at 60 yards range.
HARDWICK LAKE
Roger Seaton fishing with Dynamite Baits Spicey Prawn over hemp and free offerings at 25 yards has caught a 25.10 mirror.
Wolverhampton’s Ashley Haynes has caught a 25.07 fully scaled mirror by fishing Solar Boilies in the margins with a bag mix.
Editor of Carp Addict John Bannister has caught a mirror of 28.04 and a common of 2olb by fishing worms in the margins.
Cheshire’s Mark Dowd has caught a 19lb mirror and a 20.02 common by fishing Meaty Mix in the margins.
New Linear Bailiff Stuart Roper from Witney has caught a 31.07 mirror. Stuart fished particle hook baits and PVA bags containing pellets at 25yards.
Local angler Paul Shean from Wooton caught a 32.08 mirror off the surface. It was a first ever surface caught carp and a PB for Paul who also caught mirrors of 21.04 and 25.03 off the bottom when he fished Richworth Comp-Plex Boilies over free offerings.
Frank Warwick fished his own Spicy Prawn & Shrimp Boilies over hemp and pellets in the margins to catch a heavily plated mirror of 23.04.
GAUNTS LAKE
Bailiff Mac Macarthy caught two double figure mirrors and one of 24lb when he fished Richworth Ultra-Plex over spodded pellets at 60 yards.
HUNTS CORNER LAKE
Ryan Ward from Aylesbury fished Edge Baits Pineapple Chunks at 30 yards over a spod mix to catch seven carp to 20.08.
UNITY LAKE
Didcot’s Malcolm Stead has caught a ghost carp of 26.04 commons of 22.02 and 20lb plus mirrors of 23.06 and 20.01 by fishing Richworth Ultra -Plex with the stick rig at 80 yards.
OXLEASE LAKE
Paul Farley fished particles over spodded pellets at 50 yards to catch mirrors of 27.04, 26.04 and 24.12.
Paul Rowles from Northampton caught a double figure mirror, a 22.02 mirror and a 7.08 tench when he fished Tails Up Boilies over a spod mix at 70 yards. He then lost an estimated 30+ fish at the net and caught 25.06 mirror.
Will Martin from Essex has caught a personal best 33.03 mirror carp and another of 16.08. Will fished particles over hemp at 35 yards range.
