FISHINGmagic VERDICT

I’m not claiming to have used these for any length of time but certainly long enough to know that the boilies catch fish and that the crumb attracts them.

My new upper Trent personal best barbel fell to a BFW Monster Crab Waka but how significant that is I don’t know, yet it is a fact and you can make of that what you will.

I must admit that when it comes to a choice between boilies and pellets for barbel I prefer boilies, but that’s a personal thing. These Wakas have an excellent texture, having a soft(ish) centre but firm enough on the outside. They smell good and you can see the quality of the ingredients when you break one open.

I’m looking forward to fishing with them for a prolonged period and seeing if they are consistently successful. I’m sure they will be.

The crumb, mixed with dissolved pellets, can be made to an excellent consistency that will trickle through the swim and lay down a very attractive food trail.
