JRC Terry Hearn Stealth Relaxa Recliner Chair | |

How many anglers like myself can remember that old Shackleton Chair advert where the old lady slumps into the chair and says “Ee that’s grand.” Well, believe me, this chair is in that kind of mould and is certainly the most comfortable I have ever used.
Not one for liking my backside two inches from the ground I was looking through the chairs at Climax Tackle, Dronfield when I came across this little beauty and liked the look of it. I liked it even better when Tony Flint who owns Climax Tackle told me to take it out and test it. The recliner comes with a back rake mechanism which can be adjusted to any angle and also has armrests; the legs adjust on spring loaded quick release friction clips and the whole thing weighs approximately 10lbs. What I do like about this chair is the height adjustment and at full height you feel like a Wimbledon umpire although JRD recommend 5inches of the inner adjustable leg inside the fixed leg for complete safety. The chair is very well made of sturdy construction and should last a lifetime with a bit of TLC; in fact it’s so comfortable when I used it at Bank End for the first time I nodded off for half an hour.
