HAVING ATTENDED SEVERAL fish-ins now, and having enjoyed every one of them immensely, I decided it was time to organize one myself.

The normal focus is unsurprisingly fishing. Usually along a theme such as barbel, predators or fly fishing. I decided maybe the social aspect should be the focus this time; make it specifically about meeting our internet clan (of course with some actual fishing available too).

If you have never attended a fish in before I can assure you that it is well worth the effort. They are always fun, always informative and always give you at least one good story to take home with you.

The people of FishingMagic are always willing to share information, tips and tales of fishing adventures. Meeting up at a fish-in is an extension of that online community where friendships are made, faces put to names and new skills learnt.

With this in mind I chose a venue where night fishing is not allowed to allow us time to relax, talk, compare tackle and stoke up the BBQs.

P.S: Bring your own food / booze / tackle!
