OXLEASE LAKE
Joe and Shane Green from Southampton had 16 fish between them, Josh with 4 up to 29lb 08oz and Shane with 12 up to 22lb 02oz. All their fish were caught using boilies over a scattering of free offerings at about 60 yards.
BRASENOSE 1
Josh Bennett and Tom Jones had 8 fish between them, all doubles using bright pop-ups and the stick rig at 100 yards.
Jamie Astrop from High Wycombe had six upper doubles using particles and bags at 40 yards range.
Rob Allen from Bristol had four doubles fishing boilies over spod mix at 60 yards range.
ST JOHNS LAKE
Paul Hawkins fished a day session yesterday for the tench and was rewarded with fish of 8.01, 8.04 and 9.10 (all new PB’s). Paul fished maggot and caster in conjunction with a maggot feeder at short range.
Shane Taylor from Essex had a 32lb 02oz mirror using homemade boilies over particles at 70 yards range. And Peter Bundock also from Essex had a 27lb 05oz mirror using the same tactics as Shane.
ST JOHNS LAKE
Stephen May from Liverpool has just finished a week long session and had 6 fish including a new PB 20lb 15oz common along with mirrors of 21lb 05oz and 25lb 03oz.
HARDWICK LAKE
Over the weekend Luke Stevens had commons of 20lb and 22lb 08oz using SBS lobworm boilies at range.
BRASENOSE 1
Whilst on a 12 hour tutorial with Ian Russell, Andy Baynes had 12 fish including a new PB 26lb mirror using zig rigs and HBS Baby Super-Stench hook baits. (Anyone interested in booking a tutorial with Ian should contact him on 01932 877577).
