I’m tempted to describe ‘Memories and Milestones’ as a simple book, but that could give the wrong impression, leading you to believe it has no depth, which it has.
Yet it is a simple book, in the respect that it is a little, inexpensive paperback that relates various anecdotes that have happened to Graham Elliott throughout the 45 years of his angling lifespan.
I think it wouldn’t be unfair to describe it as a potted autobiography.
Of course Graham is best known for his angling guiding service, and he has heaps of experience of catching all sorts of fish, which he fishes for with a passion, as is evident in this book.
For a little less than eight quid it’s well worth it, both for a very enjoyable read and for a place on your bookshelf for dipping into on those days when you can’t get out on the bank.
