GENERAL
We’ve finally had a few fish reported to us from Hunts, Oxlease and Brasenose-1 – Lets just hope this is the start of a cracking season and that we don’t freeze again this month!!!!!
HUNTS CORNER LAKE
Feb Eddie “Towerpower” O’Hara from Blackpool had a 17lb mirror over the weekend using a pop-up. Fishing with Eddie was Nicky Walsh also from Blackpool, Nicky landed a 28lb mirror using the same bait.
OXLEASE LAKE
Over the weekend Stuart Heather had a 7lb stockie using a Mainline pineapple pop-up, fishing with him was Graham McNeill who had a 5lb 12oz stockie using the same bait. These are the first carp we’ve had reported to us from Oxlease this year.
BRASENOSE ONE
There have been a couple of 16lb mirrors out over the last few days which we beleive are the first fish from B-1 this year, more details when we get them.
MANOR FARM LAKE
Tom Stringer had a 13lb pike from the Willow Swim over the weekend using a mackerel dead bait.
GENERAL
**Half price tickets – Winter special 1st January – 28th February**
From the 1st of January until the end of February 2010 Linear Fisheries will be offering HALF PRICE tickets on all of their day ticket waters for all customers paying by either credit or debit cards. This offer applies to all 12hr & 24hr tickets purchased via credit/debit card on any Linear day ticket water (including Hunts Corner). It will be Linear’s policy that during this two month period, cash purchases will still be charged at full price and this policy will be strictly adhered to. Credit/debit card payments can be made on the bank of all the day ticket waters via a wireless, hand held card machine carried by our bailiffs. This is the preferred method of payment at Linear Fisheries Oxford.
MANOR FARM LAKE

We now only have one pike match left this season and its the FINAL – This is due to be held on Sunday 28th February 2010 at Manor Farm Lake. The Lake will be closed all day to day ticket anglers.
