Want to know what your favourite river or beat is looking like before you get there? How the water conditions are shaping up for your next outing?
Joint Partners of Farson Digital Glyn Howells and Andrew Maund announce; “Following the great success of Farson Digital’s river webcams erected in partnership with Westcountrys River Trust across the South West of England, Farson Digital are proud to announce they are teaming up with leading online publisher Fish&Fly and will be expanding the network across the UK this summer. The cameras will in particular be featured on their groundbreaking Where to Fish and Atlas sites.”
Dr Colin Bradshaw, Technical Director of Fish and Fly Ltd added “In the river-fishing world, knowing the height and colour of the river and whether it is rising or falling is truly important information. In salmon fishing in particular there is a window of opportunity on a dropping water where your chances of success are greatly increased. Dream conditions! But with these web cams we don’t need to dream anymore we can see for ourselves. They not only show us what the conditions are like now but also display the trend over the last 24 hours. Webcams will provide perfect information for visitors to our Where to Fish and Atlas web sites and we’re delighted to be able to show them.”
