The promotional DVD will be available FREE from all local tackle shops and features some of the very best in match and coarse angling. See some of the top quality products available, learn about the different baits and see how the very best in angling go about using them. Filmed with the likes of Wayne Swinscoe, Grant Albutt, Ian Didcote, Jason Le Bosquet plus many more this is a must-see production.
In typical Bait-Tech fashion they haven’t stopped there. They show not only how to use and catch with their products but also how the fish react to their baits underwater and Sparsholt College in Hampshire plays host to some very interesting experiments. See how the fish react to the bait underwater, see how they react to rigs, feeders and with some never before seen footage of fish eating from a method feeder, you can’t fail but to learn.
Andy Neal commented:
“As anglers we have always wanted to see how fish react to our bait. We catch plenty on it but never really know how they feed on it. We think we do but do we really? Sparsholt was an amazing exercise for us, truly astounding to see. Obviously in today’s modern commercials the water clarity means you just can’t film underwater as you won’t see anything. We were desperate to see the reactions to our baits so contacted the guys at Sparsholt. Once we saw how they reacted we just had to film it and show everyone, absolutely brilliant to watch. I’m looking forward to hearing people’s reactions.”
The Sparsholt filming saw Ornamental Diploma students prepare two aquariums to replicate coarse fisheries in the UK.
In one aquarium there were mirror carp which were filmed reacting to bait in situations made to replicate what would happen in a lake. In the second the students prepared roach, bream and perch for a similar trial. The purpose of the DVD was to demonstrate what actually happens underneath the water and how coarse fish react to different types of Bait-Tech bait and angling scenarios.
Peter Clapperton, Bait-Tech Managing Director said:
“The footage filmed at Sparsholt is fascinating – we saw how the fish are attracted to the bait, how their senses are awakened and how they then tackle the bait. We have learned so much that will not only prove invaluable to anglers but will also influence future product development here at Bait-Tech. We are very keen to produce further DVDs and would look to work with the team at Sparsholt College once again.”
Bait-Tech’s Advanced Bait Solutions 1 will be available early April from your local tackle shop.
