The Weymouth Charter fleet has one of the most renowned fleets in the country offering well-equipped, fast, modern boats with expert and friendly skippers.

The boats will fish at anchor or on the drift on one of the famous banks (Shambles, Kidney or Adamant), deep water reefs or one of the many war time wrecks that litter the Dorset coast.

The competition has been booked at this time as it is one of the most productive times to fish with all the summer and winter species being in abundance.There will be bait supplied for the competition with each competitor receiving mackerel, squid and ragworm, the boats will also stop for fresh mackerel.

The entry fee is £150 per competitor, but for juniors of 17 years of age and under the entry fee is £75.00. An entry form may be downloaded from the Angling Trust website HERE with the closing date for entries 31 August 2013. Fees include the two day charter boat, bait and a buffet presentation and all participants must have individual membership of the Angling Trust.

There will be optional team events of £5 per angler per team payable on application of entry with a 2-man open team, 4-man open team and 4-man drawn teams

The prizes available are 1st – £500, 2nd – £250, 3rd – £150.  There will also be a prize table for day 1 and day 2 winners and other positions.
