**Real Reviews by Real Anglers**
I am a bit of a Wychwood fan, having purchased one or two of their products in the last few years and find that the thought and quality of construction that goes into their range is of the highest standard. This piece of kit is certainly no exception and has been at my side on every barbel trip this year; the only down side being that as yet it hasn’t caught me a barbel; but then I haven’t yet tried hooking it onto a size 2!
Anyway, as far as dynamics are concerned, the quiver is built around a main open top pocket/compartment which is just big enough for a small brolly. Attached to this are two small sleeve pockets, one large enough to house your rod rests and folded landing net, the other a small keep, taking the butt ends of your rod/s. Straps and clips at the top of secure your rod/s to the quiver and plastic retainers which are sewn in at the top provide for the addition of clip-on protective rod Rover Pouches which can be purchased separately if required. An adjustable strap for carrying the quiver completes the package.
This is a very small purpose-built item for the roving angler and as such will not cope with large made-up rods or even compact bivvy overwraps, etc. It is very light and fashioned in typical Wychwood dark green for the discerning amongst us. It is very robust and well capable of the abuse I dish out on my tackle. So I expect it to last at least four or five seasons before being soiled and bullied into submission.
This is a very practical addition to my tackle collection and retails in most outlets for a reasonably priced £ 25. For an additional £ 12.50, you get the Rod pouch if you want to safeguard your rods and reels against the elements and/or brambles and foliage.
