An incredible catch of big chub has been taken from the Old River Lee at Fishers Green by Edmonton angler Gary Newland. 
For the past few seasons the Fishers Green stretch has been widely recognised as one of the top big chub venues in the country with fish to 7lb 7oz .
Despite being a very consistent producer of 5lb and 6lb specimens the Old River Lee at Fishers Green really showed what it can produce when Gary fished it with the maggot feeder to take 11 chub over 5lb, topped by a specimen of 6lb 4oz, which must be one of the top big chub catches of all time.
