Sparsholt College Fisheries lecturer Simon Scott completed a remarkable week on the Wraysbury Syndicate by capturing the carp known as Cluster at a weight of 43lb. 
Simon netted the fish from the Lawns area at the Douglas Lane end of the fishery and the capture completed a week which also saw Mark Toland bank Mallin’s Fish at 43lb and Derek Rance take Mary at 51lb 12oz, Mary’s Mate at 43lb 12oz. and a common of 30lb 4oz.
Despite the sudden frenzy of fish captures at Wraysbury the management think there may still be more to come, for there are several well known fish which have yet to be caught this season.
