In his foreword editor Andy Murray says, “The idea of the bookletis twofold. To bring informative up-to-date angling and Carp Societythoughts to the members (and anyone else who wants to part with theirhard-earned wallet filler!) at a very modest price!”

There then follows some very interesting reading from 15 wellknown carp anglers contributing 16 chapters that cover tackle, techniques baits and carp fishing abroad.

Tim Paisley also writes about ‘Carp Fishing Writing’ whichI found particularly interesting for what he had to say was largelytrue about writing for most sporting publications, apart from thosewith a mass circulation.

I would suggest that any budding angling writers read thisbook if only for that one chapter by Tim Paisley. It will give you anhonest and enlightening insight into how to get in print.

The other chapters in the booklet are good reading too, and for£ 4.99 it is indeed, ‘a very modest price’.
