Pascal Van de Broek and his mate Ronald have had a great week at Chapel Lake, with Ronald managing a cracking 58lb 2oz carp on his first day and Pascal pulling in a 40lb 2oz and a lovely 30-pounder. They fished with Fishmeal based boilies like Octopus and Crab and a variety of pop-ups, and also included curry in the boilie mix. The lads thought they were on to a good thing. Then the guys hit a bit of a slack period when the weather changed and it all went quiet.
However, a few days later the weather changed again and things started to kick in, and in one night the guys managed a string of catches, including a bunch of mid to late 30’s.
