Richard Lee has been appointed editor of Angling Times following a spell as deputy editor of Improve Your Coarse Fishing, followed by appointments as news editor, then deputy editor of Angling Times. 
Richard, an all-round angler, enjoys match fishing for bits with as much enthusiasm as he puts into trying his hand for a huge carp or catfish. Fishingmagic.com editor Graham Marsden has fished with him many times over the years and found him good company with a great sense of humour as well as being a skilful and passionate angler.
Right now he is in France fishing the river Saonne for giant catfish, along with my old mate Terry Knight of Burton Mere. I was due to go with them, but work and other little things like that got in the way.
He has been a member of this web site’s Mailing List almost since its inception and although his contributions are infrequent they are usually interesting and to the point.
Angling Times can only go to greater strengths under the guidance of this editor who is not only a good scribe but a keen angler too.
