The draft agenda will include:

  • River Stour Monitoring Project – The Environment Agency give an overview about the partnership approach, understanding the river and it’s fish stocks with underwater imagery and the need to increase habitats
  • Voluntary Bailiff Service – Paul Thomas Angling Trust Fisheries Enforcement Manager explains how the VBS is being rolled out in the East of England and how he is getting the police more involved
  • A Framework Supporting Junior Anglers – Nick Watkins Essex Licenced Coach and James Lewis Angling Trust Regional Officer for East of England explain what is being done to bring junior anglers back into the fold and give an overview of the summers programme of events
  • Open Forum Session – Ask questions and raise issues with the Environment Agency and the Angling Trust

This meeting is free to attend and open to all. It is aimed at ALL freshwater anglers, Coarse and Game. It is a key opportunity to hear about the work of the Environment Agency and is a chance to tell the Angling Trust what YOU think their priorities should be. Plus updates from key organisations in your area.
