Bazil, the most famous big carp still alive today, has once again been captured from the North Lake on the Nutrabaits Yateley Complex. 
Bordon, Hants angler Mark Winter, in his second season on the complex, is the 57th angler to catch Bazil at over 40lb in weight. This time the giant mirror weighed 47lb 12oz.
This is the heaviest weight recorded for the fish since October 1996.
Only three weeks ago Bazil was netted by Peter ‘The Painter’ Bond at 45lb 12oz.
