Simon Croft and Bazil at 45lb

Student Simon Croft became the first angler this season to capture Bazil from the North Lake on the Nutrabaits Yateley Complex.

Simon stalked the fish using an Activ-8 boilie over a bed of Hinders Hi Betaine pellets and after capturing three 19lb+ commons struck into Bazil on the third day.

The famous fish, still in excellent condition, pulled the scales to 45lb.
