Of all of the big fish of all of the species there is little doubt in the minds of most specialist anglers that big bream are the most difficult to catch with any sort of consistency. Whilst smaller bream are usually both predictable and greedy their larger bretheren could almost be an entirely different species and putting them on the bank can exact a high price in both time and effort.
For this podcast Ian Welch visits specialist angler Adrian Eves on the banks of a notoriously tricky Berkshire venue where he has enjoyed some spectacular successes during the past couple of seasons but successes mixed with an even greater number of failures – such is the way with big bream!
