I am 46yrs old and have been fishing for many years now. I am a boat owner and go out from Beadnel in Northumberland, usually on a Saturday – weather permitting.
Help is required launching and recovering the boat and so this is on a shared expenses basis purely for launching fees (£ 9.50), car parking (£ 3.00) and fuel used at cost (approx £ 9.00).
I use an Orkney Longliner that is fully equipped with all safety gear, etc. I am in the process of upgrading to an Orkney 520 which will achieve 22kts.
