At the end of the World Carp Classic, their first competition, Mark and Dominic will set off immediately on the 8 hour drive to participate in the Trophee le Carpiste at Lac de Castelnau Lassouts Lous in Aveyron.

The allocation of swims for the Trophee le Carpiste is at 8.30pm on Saturday 16th September, and the competition begins at 10am the next day. Mark and Dominic will fish continually through to 2pm on Friday 22nd September. Last year, the pair were close to winning this match, but eventually took second place.

Mark Gardner said “I’ve never fished The Orient before, so this will be an interesting match and I’m certainly looking forward to the challenge. As for Le Carpiste, I fished there last year so I do have some knowledge of this venue and hope to put it to good use. But, as we all know, the draw and choice of a good peg is extremely important, so we’ll need to do our homework prior to both matches”.

Dominic commented “I’ve fished many times with Mark before, and we work well as a team by combining our individual efforts and skills. I’m looking forward to both matches and the new experience of fishing the Orient. I know that we’ll both be giving it our best to successfully complete the task we’ve set ourselves. and do well in both matches.”

Mark and Dominic from Carp-Techwill be pushing themselves to the limit in this enduro, and will be giving progress reports on their results and experiences throughout both matches.
