CarpTV August 2008

The August edition of Carp TV is out and this month features an interview with Ian (Chilly) Chilcott. Two copies can be won!

The programme starts as always with the catch reports. This month’s round-up begins with a mammoth 87lbs 8ozs carp caught by Neil Richards on a pink pepper pop-up boilie. Many reports are still photos, but some, like Neil’s, are videoed reports and this one could have almost got him £ 250 from the ‘You’ve Been Framed’ makers. Nice fish though.

There’s also a review of the latest tackle developments including a new rig tubing from Rig Marole. This claims (and is proven by Joe Morgan) to be easier to thread line through than the usual silicone stuff. Heavy too so it sinks well.

The interview with Danny Fairbrass continues this month who, along with Danny’s mate Andy, are catching carp from Wellington Country Park. This time it’s Andy’s turn with a 42lbs 2ozs mirror and a PB for Andy. A tip or two from Danny about bait too.

Gary Bayes shows how to make up a super sticky method mix that packed with ingredients. Rig of the Month is demonstrated by Jerry Hammond and shows how to use Nash’s new tungsten tubing. Platignum Product is the Viper Bait Boats and Graham Slaughter puts forward his view on them.

There’s lots more in the 90+ minutes magazine and this month the DVD also contains the Nash DVD tackle Catalogue. In 70 minutes this shows many of the excellent products in the Nash range introduced by Kevin Nash himself. A lot of interesting stuff there to get the serious and beginner carper salivating.
