Collingwood LED Torch

Now here’s something which every angler really should keep in his or her tackle bag even if you don’t generally fish after dark.

We all fish on longer than we intend to at times and to be stuck without light can be dangerous. The Collingwood L.E.D. Pen Torch is the thing to carry. Yes I know there are other small well made torches around, but they are toys compared to this.

This torch really is the Lamborghini of torches. It’s made from a tough anodised aluminium alloy, so it won’t corrode. It won’t break or dent either when you drop it, and it’s light to carry. It weighs just 137g or just under 5oz in old money, which includes the weight of the three AA batteries. It’s compact too at just 200mm long. That’s a shade under 8 inches.

It’s even got a clever strip of rubber built in along the shaft giving a comfortable grip and warmth during freezing conditions. It oozes class and craftsmanship!

But turn the thing on and you are at once dazzled by the intense blue white beam that this tiny torch throws out. I swear you could play floodlit football by the light of a couple of these things. This torch throws the widest and brightest beam of any torch I have ever seen. Apparently the batteries will last for 80 hours continuous use too!

It even has a stainless steel clip on the end to hang it up by and it is finished in an attractive metallic satin grey colour.
