Yes, it’s Caption Competition time again and our gorgeous model Glittering Gary Knowles took a lot of persuading to pose for the shot below. But after bribing him with half a lager (which we still owe him) he ran the comb over the dome, and then with a quick spray of Pledge and a good buffing, smiled nicely as the mesh bag was lowered over the boilie.
We have four books from Crowood for prizes, two ‘Big Tench’, edited by Bob Church, and two ‘Perch’ by John Bailey and Roger Miller. The winner and runner-up will choose the book they prefer, and third will chose from what’s left. Fourth, well you can work that one out. All four winners will receive a FISHINGmagic cap and tee-shirt. As always the competition is run on the forum so that everyone can see each other’s entries. All you have to do is think of a witty caption for the picture and reply to the forum thread below.
