The TV cameras were on hand to film the capture of a potential British record crucian carp from Gold Valley Lakes and you can watch the video in November’s issue of Coarse and Match Fishing Monthly.

After hearing of the presence of a potential record at the complex specialist angler Duncan Charman set his stall out for the fish but it was his dad, Tony , who latched into the 5lb 3oz 8dr specimen, which is being submitted as a record claim.
