Following our successful Three Shires events in 2005, which raised £ 700 for Francis House (Children’s Hospice), the gang at disabled-angler.co.uk are pleased to announce their 2006 Charities events Programme: The Charities Championship This year we are doubling our efforts to raise even more funds for our chosen Charities: Macmillan (Cancer relief) & Francis House (Children’s Hospice) . The Charities Championship is to be run over 5 matches, open to disabled & non-disabled anglers. The top 8 anglers from all 5 opens will be invited to fish the All Winners Final on Sept 30th where you will have the chance of picking up some magnificent trophies and becoming this years disabled or non-disabled Charities Champion 2006. On the day there will be a guess the weight competition & some great raffle prizes to be won, plus there will be refreshments laid on after the match for all the competitors. To secure your place on any of the matches listed below you will need to contact Bucko@disabled-angler.co.uk. A cheque for £ 10.00 made out to disabled-angler.co.uk will then need to be sent to the address given, this will cover your peg fee and a small contribution towards the charities fund. Unfortunately this is non-refundable. Once disabled-angler has received your £ 10 you will receive by return post a confirmation letter and direction to your chosen charity open match. All matches fished to NFA & Fishery rules. Pools money for all matches will be £ 10.00. Payout for all matches will be top 3 plus 4 section winners 7 winners in total.
