Body piercing is okay if you’re into that kind of thing; if nothing else it tells the world that you’re different. Trouble is, so many are doing it now you’re different if you haven’t had a body part punctured and a piece of jewellery threaded through it.
But isn’t it taking things too far when you’re out spear fishing from the Cylinder Beach on North Stradbroke Island, off Brisbane in Australia and you push the spear through your nose?
Which is exactly what a teenager did the other week.Of course, he claims it was an accident, that a wave pushed him forward onto the spear. But we reckon the 14 year old decided his pocket money wouldn’t stretch to a professional job and had a go himself.
The spear went 4 centimetres deep and he ended up in hospital where he’s making a good recovery.
