John Pawlowski has netteed a 10lb 10oz barbel from Derbyshire’s river Dove.
The barbel, which is huge for the river, is the seventh double that John has taken from the river in the ten years he’s been fishing it.
The Barbel Society member used flavoured luncheon meat over hemp to take the fish in the marginal snaggy swim.
The fish beats his previous best Dove double by 3oz.
