Mark Addy and Mark Downes, England’s new joint managers, havechosen the squad to fish the European Championships in Bulgaria inJuly.
The only change is that Kim Milsom has been dropped in favour ofTom Pickering. Pickering won the World Championship gold medal on thesame venue, the Polvdiv Rowing Course, in 1989.
The lineup is Tom Pickering, Will Raison, Alan Scotthorne, SteveGardener, Stuart Conroy and Bob Nudd.
“I picked Tommy over Kim because he has obviously won on the venuebefore and it could be a waggler match, which I feel Tom is slightlybetter at,” said Mark Addy.
The date of the match is Saturday, 30th June and Sunday, 1stJuly.
