The European Eel Anglers Association was founded in 2002 and is open to all who fish for and have an interest in the European Eel and its protection and conservation. The EEAA contains many leading eels anglers who have many years eel angling experience and a wealth of knowledge.

The first Secretary and founder of the organisation is Brian Crawford, one of Britain’s most respected foremost eel anglers. Brian is an accomplished writer, has had a number of books published on the specie, he has additionally served on a number of high level angling executives and also appeared on national television angling programmes and video.

This years AGM will be held Sunday 21st March 2004 at The Plough, East Goscote, Leicester, just North of Syston on the road to Melton Mowbray-A607.

It has reasonable access from the M1 J21, then , then A46-A607; or A47-leicester Northern by-pass-A607 from the east. From the North, you would leave the M1 at J22-A50-A46-A607.
