THE CLOSING DATE FOR NOMINATIONS IS NOW 15TH MARCH 2002.
I started it off with a thread on the forum complaining about crapservice from one of our biggest retailers. Then Chris Bishopsuggested we give a certificate each year to the shop thatFISHINGmagic readers vote as the one giving the very bestservice.
Chris said, “How about a FISHINGmagic Good Service Award – needn’tbe anything much but a framed certificate to hang on the wall. Itwould be a kind of stamp of approval from FM members.”
So we’ll launch it today with a forum thread linked from thebottom of this page. The high street tackle shop (that means no mailorder outfits, online shops, or manufacturers) that gets the most praise, or the bestpraise, wins the ‘FISHINGmagic Good Service Award’.
We’ll run the thread each year from 1st October to December 31st (Revised closing date, see above). This year’s obviously starts from today for the’FISHINGmagic Good Service Award2001′
In the meantime, there’s a bulk spool of Sufix Synergy worth£ 15 waiting for someone who sends in the best design for thecertificate. Last entry by 25th November please.
