A mullet from a river, not a good pic but not many river mullet pics about so thought I would put this one up and this thread makes a nice change from all the all the doom and gloom. And a flounder, love the camouflage aspect.

I also found this from before we ever met in person and from the days when we would bicker about anything and everything. He was laid up with ill health, had been quiet for some time and I was missing an argument so I posted him this...



Made me smile!

He could wind people up too which I'm sure he won't mind me saying and on one occasion he trotted a thread on for several pages about how he'd been fishing with his grandson, neither with either a full licence or free registered junior licence, yet it was all still legal whilst several of us foamed at the mouth at his wilful licence evasion.

It turned out they'd used nets and a jam jar!

A frosty Christmas morning on the local town centre dam a few years ago...

Sat down to tie a few flies this morning, I'm now glad I didn't do any over the winter.



As always, the bead head nymph selection was most in need of replenishment

My summer fishing has gone from crack of dawn stuff to wander down around tea-time. But some swims are worth getting up early for
