Hi my grandad passed down a shaun linsley richard walker rod , iv had it for a few years now and iv never used it , now my grandad has sadly passed and my gran is on her own id like to sell it and give the money to my gran . What would people say its worth please ?? Iv spoke to shaun linsley himself and he's gave me a price I should sell it for but I'd rather heat what buyers would say the value is , iv also got the original receipt with it .

It's a shaun linsley richard walker mk iv 2001 I don't think it's been used , feel free to give me a offer on it and if excepted I can also meet halfway for delivery

He said to me he only made a small number of these, its a shame I'm not in to fishing really or I'd have given the rod a go

I think it has been used a little if the picture of the handle is accurate. Looks like a darkening of the cork where its been handled mostly where the reel would sit.

A lovely rod. I hope you get a good price for it.

I have an old split cane B.James & Son Richard Walker MKIV Carp rod and Ive found a small hand scrubbing brush with some washing up liquid does wonders on its handle when it gets a bit dirty looking like that.

I’m afraid I can’t help you to value your shaun linsley rod but like John I hope you get a good price for it.

Try a magic sponge on the cork. It's the best thing I've discovered for such cleaning. I buy the soft cheapos from eBay.

I don't understand why you don't accept the makers price on what the rod is worth.
Ask Shaun Linsley is he could write a confirm he did indeed make the rod and give a valuation before trying to sell it.
