Any thoughts, idea's, suggestions are welcome.

We need a water for at least 30 odd, night fishing and allow us to have a Saturday night gathering for a BBQ.

Wherever we choose has to have some creature comforts for the work shy one. B&B or some accomodation on site or nearby as night fishing and bivvies are now apparently a thing of the past for his highness.

Unless that is he just didn't want to night fish with me!

I had to chuck that bivvy away! The smell of it was un-believable!

And the noises that came from it that night have given me many nightmares.......

It was more like a scene from 'Broke back mountain'..............

Oh well, as I'm moving half-way 'Ooop norf' in a couple of weeks I suppose it will be almost on my doorstep, so I had better make an appearance...........

Graham

Now that you have officially retired, are you going to start wearing those trousers that pull right up to your ribs? You can get them at Greenwoods and Dunn & Co. I think.

He's just an old seadog, he'sbeen knocking around with that Ishmael bloke to long and got into bad habits, the banning of whale catching has hit him hard, a poor soul really:D

Right,

I have just spoken to the owner of Boundary Pool in Cheshire, Spiders put me onto him. Its just South of Allostock if you look on Multi or Bing maps.

Carp to mid 30s and some cracking Bream, best now going 14lb 5oz. I'm also told its done big Perch.

It 14 acres and has around 70 swims.

48 hour ticket is a bargain £20 quid.

He also has 3 rooms onsite for BnB which is £20pp per night with full english.

I was thinking of a Friday/Sat night Fish-in July 16th-18th or would you guys prefer 30th July - 1st Aug???????

This is a get together, a crack and laugh, if the weathers naff then what the hell, if the fishing aint too good what the hell, its all about meeting up and having a damn good time and watch Graham get bladdered on Scotch!

Any other suggestions welcome with regard to venue and date.

Over to you....
