As you may know, 23 June is WORLD FISHING DAY, and we've teamed up with the Angling Trust, Get Hooked on Fishing and the Canal and Rivers Trust to lay on a network of community fishing events designed to help new people get into the sport.
We now have over 30 events throughout the UK, covering everything from coarse to fly fishing - check out the website to find an event near you.
If you've wanted to introduce your family and friends to the wonderful world of fishing, this is for you!
As part of the WFD celebrations we're creating a groundbreaking 24 hour live fishing broadcast from 22 locations around the world, available to watch for free via the FishingTV platform. We'll also be sending 'On the Bank' presenter Andy Ford (BT Sport) to visit as many of these events as possible on the day, with a live film crew to capture the action at these events.
Finally, if you are out fishing on the day, do please share your pics with us via social media using the hashtag #WorldFishingDay for a chance to win some great prizes, including FishingTV annual passes worth £60 and Deeper fish finders worth £200!
