January has been an interesting time for Thomas Turner. New Year resolutions to clear out the loft/garage or reduce fishing tackle collections means a plethora of calls/emails of tackle for sale. Many are unsuitable, but fortunately, we have been offered some real gems and tackle by most of the desirable brands. This includes superb and rare rods by Barder/Davis/Hardy/Allcocks/Sage/Loomis/B. James etc. Both collectable and usable. All covered by the new Thomas Turner Rod Warranty.
Our stock of high-quality tackle has never been better and we have some 200 items waiting to be listed in the coming days to include the following reels; 8 Adcock Stantons, 9 Allcocks Aerials, 6 Hardy Conquests, 8 Reynolds including a rare extra wide model, 5 Dave Swallow, 5 Youngs Purists, a rare Browning Revolver plus a Peter Reading Barbel reel. Also in the pipeline, limited edition versions of the Mills Ultimate Trotter, Mills F J Taylor and a Barbel Society Mills Barbel Basher.
A good time to add to your collection or upgrade by part exchange. I know I am looking forward to pairing a Wizard with my Mills ‘Tenchfisher’ Centrepin when the warmer weather arrives and tench become the quarry.
All the above and the ‘Wizard’ cane collection mentioned previously are being listed as this blog is published.
STOP PRESS!!
As part of our January stock review we have today launched many reduced prices on our site, identified by an orange ‘Sale label’. This is to make way for new stock and is a good opportunity to purchase.
