There was the annual fishing tackle "Brocante" this morning. Previous years it has been mostly overpriced junk tackle with the sellers unwilling to haggle, but it was sunny so I combined the brocante with a visit to the nearby sections of river, only 10 minutes drive from my home.
I only bought some groundbait from one brocante stall, but it was a lovely morning for photos along the river, some parts I have not fished yet.
A section had recently been cleared of trees, revealing some nice fishing swims - hopefully the debris in the river will be removed as well!
I walked further downstream and found some tracks to likely swims, again so many fallen trees just under the surface. I will return soon....with a rod!
